Been messing around for ages and it finally clicked with this! Thanks mate

I've just (about a week ago) had my moza r5 kit and purchased quite a bit of dlc for ACC. This video is EXACTLY what I was looking for to fine tune my ffb. I'm hoping it will help cure the snap oversteer that I sometimes get and I'm unable to react fast enough to save...possibly caused by clipping?? Well worth the like and subscription :)

Always nice to hear one of my dodgy uploads are helpful and hope it irons out what you're after, cheers 🍻

Running default GT settings in pit house and 80 gain with 90 damp in ACC , although need to try my tracks , thanks for the vid :)

I use a custom Pithouse config file based on Race Beyond Matter's information, it uses 100% in Pithouse and then run 60% gain in ACC Also tried it the other way around and it was awful. Also found that by not trying to run the R5 at absolute maximum and leaving a bit of headroom, I tend to drive with lighter grip and it also improves my driving and what I am feeling. Light hands while braking also prohibits locking the fronts

The other factor is suspension stiffness+ bumpy track... 67% is definitely a sweet spot but can run higher if track is smooth and car setup is optimal if not aggressive
@tompsmith Жыл бұрын
Yeah totally, and added some comments to the description after making this saying more or less the same. At Valencia in the 296, I'm running gain nearer 80% which is a fairly significant increase from 67% for the same sweet spot as Nurburgring.

@@tompsmith indeed. Noticed the cars from the later years don't suffer so much. The jaguar g3 and Aston from 2018 are the worst in that aspect

Doesn't the base overheat by 67%, for example at 60 minutes of a race?
@tompsmith Жыл бұрын
Nope, it'll get quite warm but doesn't overheat. Ran a couple of endurance stints earlier in the year, no issues.

The flashing red 4 few sec is fine don't want solid red. I run mine at 83 an seem fine for me an using r5

in hindsight and since making this, I think you're right, and higher than even the 70% I demo'd is fine. I've found that different circuits may exaggerate the amount of clipping that occurs, due to whatever track differences there might be. Cheers for the feedback!

@Tom Smith | Smithy81 yes spa I think I get a bit of clipping worst track prob Oulton Park. Agree prob turn it down a bit if need b.

I am coming in late but does your wheel shakes like crazy on the curbs??? because I really can't seems to fix this & my neighbors are going crazy over it lol. Not happening in iRacing tho
@tompsmith6 ай бұрын
Hey. I've had settings where the kerbs vibrate far too much, but no issues with the setup here for me if what's in the video is mimic'd.

@@tompsmith Ok 😥😥😥 I will need to find an alternative like maybe doing the FIA selections in some gaming place then I guess
@tompsmith6 ай бұрын
@@tadydrift I'm sure it's solvable and it'll just be something in game to reduce and play with if the Pithouse settings are baselined OK. Pop things back yo default and build up the options, good luck🤞
