It's awesome that moza is making stuff like this. Big fan of what they're doing in the market. Also a note on having the cables entering the box on both sides: I'm also not a huge fan of this, but it does seem to make sense after seeing the box mounted. The cable from the pedals are very likely going to be coming up a rig and from the back, so it does actually make sense to have the plug for the pedals there. It's good to see that moza were thinking about how people were actually going to mount this thing and run cables to it.

Great video as always buddy, there's tons of information to digest. I really like that you added the velcro strap to take the strain off of the RJ45 connector... that was a really good idea, TTYL.

Ya im really curious if there is a way to use the R9 with the new Xbox wheel that comes with the r3 and pedals because the r9 doesn’t have a pedal port on the hub it can’t be used with the Xbox. Only the R3, R5 and R12 have pedal ports. But perhaps if there was a way to plug the R9 into the base port in the hub you could plug pedals into the hub and have the whole thing connected to an Xbox. And save money over buying the R12

Great review Shaun. I'm in the Fanatec ecosystem and to be able to use the Moza FSR wheel will be an awesome addition. And thanks for the heads up with having to use a Podium hub to make it work. 👍🏿

Shaun, thanks for your videos! Do you have any experience with the Universal Hub and the Force Feedback on the Fanatec DD1 Wheel Base? Does it work? Thank you very much Alex

You would need to also get the SRM fanatec conversion module to make non fanatec wheels work with the base.

Are there currently any bases that can utilize the base port on the hub or is that something there for future developments?

Could you use the hub to connect the wheel, pedal, shifter and handbrake to a PS5 via USB?

Did I hear that correctly? The R5-only SRP **Lite** Pedals can function “stand-alone” with this base?.. While the SRP Lites aren’t the seemingly the best value pedals, that does seem interesting. I’m considering the R5 bundle, or the R9, with SRPs plus the ES wheel (needs a V2 R9). I prefer a smaller rim and I like the extra buttons the ES has over the CS. Plus the Formula rim option. That said, the R5 bundle seems a much more budget friendly option than going R9+SRP+ES Wheel, but it might be a lot less upgradable.

question is, can I get a wheel base from Fanatec and use it on my r5 r9?

Not entirely sure. You would need to get an SRM QR and adapter to make it work.

The extension is too long and good to know this wheel is no option for me. Btw put some grease on the SC2 QR so you don't have to beat it to release it😉

I like your videos and reviews a lot. But this product by Moza is just bs. When we already have a data connection to our pc why should we use 2 quick releases and 2 adapters to mount in on our wheelbase? If theres no 6x70mm mount on the rim then its useless. We use several rims and our wheelbases are hardmounted. Using so many adapters and quick releases brings the rim too close.

$150 isn't cheap for a display when you can get a $50 6.5" Android phone off of Amazon and use it with sim hub.

Cool, I guess. But that makes for a very ugly setup. I would rather just buy my company's (Fanatec) wheels and keep the nice clean setup.
