He might have gone to dangerous areas, but I don't think he has given any analysis as to why the conflict started, and in what ways people in this region are frustrated by their government. He should have done a little more homework. Reading reports by the Crisis Group is much more rewarding.

English translation: Hey Bram, maybe a nice idea to make a documentary about Somaliland? A country that has been fighting for international recognition for almost 30 years, and time and again has managed to organize free, peaceful elections in a region not known for peace and democracy.

I wonder why there's no mention of the Roland and Heidi Baker compound there in Pemba. They have a huge role in this situation. Refugees are fleeing to their campuses for protection and prayer.

An African tragedy but also an opportunity for Aricans to rise again against a threat that has the potential to engulf Africa and return it to a continent synonymous with war, like we united against colonialism, we must unite against the extremists in Mozambique, for Mali, Chad, Nigeria and every country that's under this threat on the African Continent.

How can Africa rise again if it’s never risen before?? Africa has a xenophobic problem they hate people who don’t look “African” so they will never rise ... 1st world countries succeed because they embrace immigrants Africa tells them not to come ... Africa will never succeed untill they accept change , education, and support people moving there

You're kidding, right? You forgot about the Arabs, the Zulus, and the Communists. You remembered Europe, because you're a racist, and you forgot the people I mentioned because you are ignorant.

Mozambique government refused Portuguese and United Nations army's aid years ago. With Guterres (UNs president) promise of Mozambique government control of command operations (this is not common, only helped because of the Portuguese relations with Mozambique). They refused because they where afraid of another colonization by European powers. This was back at 2016. Now they got themselves into big problem. In my point of view, as Portuguese, let them take care of theyr own problems. There's no need to aid someone that turns theyr back to solidarity because of fear.
