Loulou Jones you should try the Uebel clarinets. They have a very German sound. So much so that I’d say the mouthpiece and reed that works with Buffet or Backun doesn’t work with Uebel.

Loulou Jones also the Ridenour G1 sounds a lot like a German clarinet. I tried it side by side to Michele Zukovsky’s Wurlitzer (same clarinet as Wenzel Fuchs here) and the sound is very similar.
