There’s something quite indescribable when you hear this music. It’s like hearing something being told to you without words so you never can tell what the message is. At times you get so many emotion and visual images running through your mind hearing this that it almost feels like the meaning of the song is just within arms reach. You never will know what the message is, but the feeling that you’re connecting with someone who wrote something hundreds of years ago is something quite fantastic. I feel bad for those who have limited themselves to their generations music only. They have no idea what they’re missing out on.

You can also look at it from the view, that this music tells you all you already has known and felt before but no one was able to express it musically. Every move in the melody is not a surprise and feels selfevident but also so much satisfying that you are surprised its really turning in that direction...simply perfect music...especially this piece shows that Mozart was gifted especially.

And again the sadness and drama when the side theme occurs , composed in g- minor. I could listen to him even when someday I might have passed on. Thank you, wsmith68. You are very kind and how you explain about Mozart is really useful... although I'm kind of confusing about the numbers such as K466, K551....ect, They don't have any "Titles"? Now I am interested in listening 626... but I do not know which 626... well. I started play a Classic Piano at age of 3. However, as much I grew up, I got tired of playing the music as notes. So, I switched to Rock and Jazz. BUT, I still really love Mozart. Thank you again.

Gulda plays Beethoven and Mozart effortlessly. Almost as if no seriousness was required to play the pieces(I have not heard him play other composers that might be out there). He is so casual in his attire, he makes the playing all the more enjoyable. None of that bow tie and suit nonsense. I love his playing. Karajan (as the story goes and related by P. Fournier) did not like him and PF told HVK that he really missed out not conducting with Gulda.
