The Piano Concerto No. 17 in G major, KV. 453, by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, was written in 1784.
The work is orchestrated for solo piano, flute, two oboes, two bassoons, two horns, and strings. As is typical with concerti, it is in three movements:
Allegro
Andante, in C major
Allegretto - Presto
According to the date that the composer himself noted on the score, the concerto was completed on April 12, 1784.
The date of the premiere is uncertain. In one view, the work is said to have been premiered by Mozart's student Barbara Ployer on June 13, 1784, at a concert to which Mozart had invited Giovanni Paisiello to hear both her and his new compositions, including also his recently written Quintet in E flat for Piano and Winds. Afterwards, Ployer was joined by Mozart in a performance of the Sonata for Two Pianos, K. 448. Another possibility, advanced by Lorenz (2006, 314), is that Mozart did not wait over two months to premiere the work, but performed it in his concert with Regina Strinasacchi on 29 April 1784 at the Kärntnertortheater. As a general consensus for researchers, it can be said with relative certainty that the work premiered during the mid-to-late spring of 1784, following its completion.
The finale is a variation movement whose theme was sung by Mozart's starling.
In the meantime, there is no need to worry about it. ”

Love the restrained tempo on all Elisey’s performances. Most artists get too excited and speed up tempo whereas Elisey stays calm and relaxed giving the music perfect timing. Great job Elisey!

He is very much in control, isn't he? That was one of the first things I noticed when I discovered him, and watched his performance of Mozart's Piano Concerto No 3 in D major kzbin.info/www/bejne/gYu4q3ZqmtmcZ6s. At a very young age everything about Elisey is amazing -when his fingers touch the piano keys every note produced is clear and smooth observing the proper expression. He is able to write his own music - his cadences enhance the original musical compositions. He is able to integrate well with the orchestra - very professional and well poised. Two music trachers remarked that Elisey learned those difficult musical pieces while he was in his mother's womb. He plays with full concentration absorbed in the music and his timing is always perfect. What others notice as slips or minor mistakes can be taken as improvisations because they still sound beautiful and artistically maneuvered. Glad that his handlers and parents allow him to grow normally as a child who also have other interests to make him physically, mentally and psychologically healthy. God bless you Elisey. Your feet can now reach the pedals. You have grown. You are an inspiration to the young. one more thing about him is he is humble as shown when he smiles shyly when acknowledging the applause of the audience . Thank you Elisey. God bless you. Едисей, солнышко ты мое и всех , кто тебя оценил! Я живу в Украине, мне 83 года, я болею серьезно, но теперь у меня появилось чудо-лекарство - ты! Я день начинаю с тебя: включаю интернет и слушаю в твоем исполнении концерты с оркестром Моцарта, Баха, и сольные выступления , начиная с твоих пяти лет и до сегодня. И на ночь слушаю, не могу сдержать слез от восхищения твоим талантом! Я не музыкант, а простой любитель классической музыки, но могу оценить и потрясающую технику твоей игры, и чуткость к красоте , и твои чудесные сочинения. С радостью вижу, как ты растешь, хотя ты всегда опережал свой возраст в исполнительском мастерстве. И этот концерт Моцарта -чудо!Когда же ты успеваешь разучить такие сложные вещи?!

Chère Lyudmila ,j'ai 73 ans et je vis en France , comme vous j'aime la musique classique (5 années a apprendre le violon et le solfège) comme vous la vie est difficile pour moi ,j'ai eu l'impression d'avoir écrit moi-même votre si gentil message a Elisey....et mes larmes coulent....je l'écoute même la nuit ,je suis fascinée par sa destinée, son incroyable talent,et sa manière toute particulière de jouer et de composer .....j'aime aussi le voir courir et s'amuser comme un enfant de son âge.....(merci a ses parents de nous adresser ces petites vidéos)je viens de lire qu'il va encore jouer à Noël ...ce sera notre cadeau.....prenez bien soin de vous.

Цей хлопчина, коли виросте, стане талановитим піаністом, для цього у нього є всі завдатки, а слухаючи, з яким натхненням він грає, то, безсумнівно, підростаючи, не розгубить свою майстерність. В такому віці виконувати світову класику і так віртуозно, це неймовірно, я вражений. Тепер я - його фанат і буду в інтернеті вишукувати подальші виступи, цього хлопчика, який нагадує янгола.
