She has without question one of the most beautiful voices today BUT doesn't have any expression to it at all. She's blank, she sings it with no emotion. Definitely not right for Donna Elvira...

She's very expressive and even dramatic, but not hysterical nor histrionic, and Mozart's music DEFINITELY abhors excessively histrionic expression in the voice, it's not verismo.

Sorry but I cannot agree. Even when she does sing verismo she still doesn't express any emotions. She's blank like a sheet of paper and Mozart DOES require a plethora of emotions from the singer, especially a role like Donna Elvira.

Mozart does not need effect or excess. His music is pure and subtle in its simplicity. It is elegant and genuine. Everything is already written no need much more.

Little idea of the text. She just runs over it all like a machine. Also any shade of red is a bit of a dumb color for this character who essentially is religious and repentive. This just a vocalise in this rendition.

Колизията оркестър - глас, добавя външна драматургия … никъде в партитурата няма "con fuoco" … до сетивност ... В класическите общества, ако тръгнеш срещу автора, се е смятало за цинизъм. Моцарт не е никак случаен точно в муз. театър. Симфоничното "звучене" е враг Фиделио !!! Не така с талантите … и на други места се усеща точно в " Дон Жуан" ...
