Hi, everyone! Today, I prepared Mozart - Fantasia No.3 in D minor, K.397, which is one of Mozart’s particular works. It is known that the piece has unusual rhythms and several tempo changes. I hope that you guys feel the improvised character of this piece and enjoy it.:) Thank you!!

Which does not really contradict the principle of a fantasia. It is, after all, always an improvisation recorded in musical notation. Or at least it is supposed to create this impression, in that the freedom of the fantasia sometimes does more justice to emotional outpourings and feelings than seemingly rigid compositional guidelines.

It is believed that the person who finished this piece was a Mozart fan called August Müller, and he did a really great job writing the last 10 bars of this piece, that sound very much like something Mozart himself could've written.

I think after watching so many of your videos I had to make a point today about how I feel about this channel and you as an artist. Because it is extremely inspiring. You are so perfect in so many different styles, I think I've heard it all now. From the Liszt style to Debussy, Beethoven and Mozart Listening to your recordings is one of the first things I do before I sit down and compose my own music. I've done that for maybe 2 months now and it helps me so much. It's always beautiful to see people in this age of modern music (nothing against those styles, I listen to them as well) to appreciate the classics. People like you, that it brings joy to make this music and that bring joy to the audience listening. You have been a big reason for me to believe in the need for new classical music lately. One of the inspiration sources that keeps me working day after day when I return from college and have read my texts, to sit down at the piano and keep writing. I might not have many subscribers or people to share the music to irl, but it brings me joy every day and people like you fuel it immensely. Consider yourself a crucial part of this everyday work. Thank you for this and all the past and upcoming beautiful recordings!

Kassia, your rendition is brilliant. Played with incredible control and expression. Each phrase is played with so much colour, as if you were a master painter. You accentuate the melody to an almost meditative and reflective level that is very enjoyable to me. I also like the lack of sustain pedal as it gives a less blurry, more dramatic effect to the piece, every note is measured and articulated. I would really appreciate more Mozart videos; especially his K475 Fantasy in C minor or the K.333 piano sonata. Thank you for the consistently high quality content.

To me this is the epitome of what a pianist is feeling while playing piano. A mix of all the passions blowing together but also confusion in what he really intends to put in his music. Of course each pieces have its own meaning and mood but we always say calm songs are sad or hopeful and big and majestic songs are powerful, brave and greatful. Look at what Mozart just wrote and think about it.

I haven’t listened to that much classical music on the past, but out of all that I have enjoyed, I am not making this up when I say that this song is literally saying something, including emotions of both sadness and resolve.

What an amazing performance. Honestly after being inspired to learn piano after listening to classical this piece has become one of if not my number one favorite piece. I usually play jazz as a saxophone but piano has been fun for the past 2 years or so, I can play to about the 2 minute mark rn just need more time.
