I find my thirst is unquenchable for Eschenberg's brilliant and expressive performances of Mozart. There is no limit to the outpouring of Mozart's musical ideas, each of which is fresh and novel. Such unparalleled genius revealed brilliantly!!

Ganz fehlerlos!

No way this is easy stuff.

Mozart is more difficult because of how more important accuracy is than Liszt. A few wrong notes does not ruin the Liszt or Mozart, but it is more noticeable in the Mozart and it sounds worse.

Although for my very personal preference the Allegros sound slightly too hurried, I am sure Mr Eschenbach gets closest to what Mozart intended. He performs with such incomparable brilliance, that comparing him with other great pianists is actually quite unnecessary, almost uncalled for. Thank you for the treats, david!

The Andante Amoroso has an operatic quality. With some adjustment , it could easily become one of Mozart's arias.

If only he could find some consistency in tempi. From 8th notes allegro to triplet prestrissimo to 16th in between.

The part at 2:53 would have liked to have seen it taken further.
