The Tema and its Variations engage all one's senses. Eschenbach reads Mozart's mind and reflects it with creativity and captivating subtle and not-so-subtle changes of dynamics and a polish of rubato. Mozart would be thrilled by this Eschenbach performance!! Bravo!!

Splendid performance!! For more details, please see my comments on other Mozart Sonata. The clarity and expressiveness throughout is awesome!! The Andante here has an insouciance in harmony and interplay between voices. Wonderful!! Mozart is a genius and Eschenbach reads his mind, capturing each flux of mood wonderfully.

The finale is eccentric; almost Beethovenianly quirky. Mozart being experimental I think.

Who's playing it? It's so good. What kind of piano is it? It sounds so good

The pianist is in the description. It’s Christoph Eschenbach. I am not sure what piano it is though? Maybe a Steinway & Sons Model D. They are pretty common for concert grand pianos.
