Faster even than Bernstein? "Nicht schleppen" as Mahler would say! And masterful use of dynamics, and separation of the four voices as needed

I'm not a musician, could someone explain me please? I thought "Dies Irae" was written by Verdi, that's what my music application tells me, and apple store, and here it says it's by Mozart. I must be missing something?

It is a common part of a Requiem, not only of the Verdi- Requiem.
