Obviously no one of you who complain about the fork, did listen carefully. Its not about reinventing the wheel, but to free you from being used as product with the whole code all the closed source ides are collecting from you. Also you missed another great point, you could use self hosted model and extend with whatever agent you want. Great time to be alive. 🎉

If I was wrong about the fork, just say that and move on. It's really okay to just do that, orrrr, not reply at all if it bothers you so much.

@@loquek By the way, you are correct it is not a fork. It is a VSCode extension. Which is still pointing out that Ai IDEs all do the same thing and that is basically automate what I would do manually (which is beneficial, I suppose) but in the end, to each his own.

@ Look, friend. Some of us here develop software for a living, some of us have been doing it for decades. You can't just go around spinning bullshit stories trying to gaslight us. If it's not a vscode clone, how does it use the vs code plugin system? Is it because it's the vscode plugin system? If its not a vscode clone, why does it include the exact same panels and gui? "Ohhh, no, it's just the text engine". Bull-shit! It's the exact same everything with config changes and an unfinished AI api interface. Which multiple vscode plugins have already done better.

Another VSCode fork :( Cursor will win that race what I have been seeing. Need a fast editor like neovim but neovim doesn't have much ai capabilities, now.

What is the difference between your ide and VsCode with Cline extension?I am seeing just a weak copy of VsCode with another stollen ideas of other extensions :) you haven't develop nothing new and you are not interesting at all for the peoples who knows a little about AI and about idee's.I am recomanding Zed IDE ,25 times better then this copy :) "and boom I can talk with a local LLM :)))" and boom ,we were doing this in VsCode a few months months ago 😅😅

Checked it, Zed IDE isn't Windows compatible by default. Kinda knocks out it's usefulness.

@@rmt3589 Who is using "Windows" ?Only a stupid would update and upgrade packages he doesn't know what they are :) no smart person on this Earth would pay for something you find on Linux as Appimage ,flatpack or snap.If this is your pb then you can use docker ,or wsl ,like that you will fix the compatibilities issues.Altough I hate Rust , looks like all what is written in Rust have "the speed of light" ,like Zed or you can try Warp as well,it beats this copy of ide with 20-0 :)
