Yeah, Killing Floor 2 is great for that. The developers are sort of known for being gun nuts, so the accuracy really shows for the weapons in the game. Interestingly, in the game you can get tactical reload perks that increase your reload speed with some weapons. These perks actually add new animations that reflect real-life speed reloading tactics as opposed to just speeding up the regular reload animations and these were apparently shown to them by people who had real firearm training. There's also special animations for dual-wielding pistols; if your character empties one pistol but still has some bullets left in the mag of the other, they drop the mag of the empty pistol to the floor and will store the magazine that still has ammunition in it.

Name Here Killing Floor 2 was good with guns but the first Killing Floor definitely was not. Most of the guns in the first one have some criminal sins like for most of the pistols in the game the hammer works backwards than how it would work in real life. Don't know how something like that would have been looked past. One of the assult rifles simply named "bullpup" doesn't even have a slot where the spent casings eject. They just pop out the side of the gun like magic.

Proper reload is locking back the charging handle before removing the mag and then put new one in and lock but that takes time. Then theres the tactical or competitive reload where you click and remove the mag first put a new one in and pull the handle once but this takes strength to push in the new mag in mp5.

That's actually not realistic relative to how a real life MP5 recoils. Video games frequently exaggerate the recoil of MP5's but they're actually specifically made to be manageable with full auto fire. The roller delayed blowback system of the MP5 results in extremely smooth shooting. It's more of a gentle push straight back against your shoulder than a violent vertical/horizontal movement.

@@basstrap6818 Aww man I think your rational for how video game developers handle firearms is actually pretty sound. I am in that rare category of gamers who grew up with the MP5 in movies and games but actually eventually ended up with one in real life after saving up a lot of money. The weight of the gun plus its mechanics lend it to being very controllable even by inexperienced shooters. In this video specifically probably 35 out of 40 were not realistic representations at all of how an MP5 behaves when fired rapidly.

The firearm BF3 is representing is a 5.56 rifle HK made based on the same roller-delayed blowback system the MP5/G3 uses (HK33), but it isn’t the same 9mm SMG. The M5K in-game is the variant you would have wanted.

One thing you can't deny about the MP5. Slapping the bolt back into place makes you cream your pants. I especially love the one in CoD 4 and Black Ops. EDIT: And yes, I'm well aware that CoD 4 doesn't slap the bolt. But that little twist of the wrist the player does is just as satisfying.

Lulzalex yeah sure the texture and models are the same but even so,various elements are changed to be compatible with the game itself like the hand models,lightning,damage values,delay between shots(in the awp's case) etc. it's not a straight port of the weapon,as long as the modified version is included in the game, it is part of the game. But either way,I think including it in the video would most likely make people skip those 10 seconds to the next weapon overview.
