Nice! I’m thinking about scooping one up too. How you like it?

@ honestly, its like having a mini 61 its doing exactly 👍🏾 what i hoped it would do. Its a bit harder to travel 🧳 with the 61 . I believe u will like it as well, just enough keys 🎹 to still make them chord progressions 🎵. I started with the X but the keys 🎹 are more me and more reliable. To me the key 61 is the new Flag Ship! The X started freezing 🥶 up and basically stopped functioning! Haven’t had any issues with the Key 61 or Mpc key 🎹 37 👊🏾

Thanks for the chilling beat. It's fun to look over your shoulder 🙂I like most the piano take. - What's your experience with structuring a whole song with different parts? I am new to Key 61 (MPC 3 beta) and I am still struggling with the best workflow. Cheers

At the moment, I like to work in pattern mode. So I’ll basically create some loops in a pattern, then copy paste stuff to new patterns. Or sometimes throw everything in one pattern, then make duplicates of that pattern and just mute what I don’t want for each pattern. Finally, I may finish it up in arrangement mode with transitions, bells and whistles.

@@DarrinDS Are you referring to "patterns" as the sequences? That is, is the concept that you create song parts (intro, verse, bridge, chorus, etc.) as individual sequences? If I understand correctly, are you then working with the Song View/Mode in MPC?
