Thank you for demystifying how to navigate the MPC. I was trying to do it all through trial and error, and kept hitting walls. I somehow managed to import some drum one shots and sequence them into a beat, but that's as far as I got (with much hair pulling and gnashing of teeth). I've been producing for some years now and have owned a lot of hardware as well as using DAWs, and can usually find my way around. The MPC definitely has it's own way of doing things. It's starting to make sense, now. Time to watch the rest of your Masterclass!

Thanks a lot, I'm 61 yo, this machine is difficult to use for an old newbee. The manual is useless... I was strugglling to understand the basics, you helped me a lot. I was using a lot of hardware in the studio, but needed something to play live without all the hassle of unplug, carry, plug, unplug, carry back, plug again in the studio... Being used to 1 button one fonction, the mpc is puzzling my brain, but with time I should do it.

I thought for sure that you were going to blow off talking about the main program output. But you came back and addressed it. It answered the one question that I had, which was whether or not you can put a compressor on the stereo output buss. Clearly, you can. Thanks a lot. Like many other commentors here, I've had my MPC Live 2 for a while and couldn't grasp with workflow and lay-out. I'm coming from an audio DAW background and the MPC was completely alien. Yours is the best video I've seen! It's the appropriate length with just the right amount of detail. In 26 minutes, you helped me grasp what dozens of other "hours" of videos just overly complicated - including the Roland Cloud Academy. Very well done sir!

But I’ve been watching a few INSPIRING videos of late! I’m puzzled why yours have only just come up on my search!
