Many KZbin videos called him the "Ace" of Ateez. His dancing skills, his stage presence, his vocals, his facial expressions and his acting is the perfect technique to create an amazing first impression to new viewers. He's basically attracting new Atinys to the fandom and he's working his ass off to do so. He was also compared to other Ace seniors such as Kai from EXO, one of his role models. San is doing an amazing job and I feel like he didn't shine THAT much in this era because KQ tried to pay more attention to other members, in a good vibe tho. Either way, he still manages to give his everything and improve day after day and I couldn't be any prouder ✨

Even if he's not in the center his fancams have the most views. Know why? Cuz even if he's in the back he still goes just as hard as when he's in the front. He LOVES what he's doing and he goes 200% in every performance. Im so dissapointed that the cameraman didn’t give San a real close-up that we can clearly see his all facial expressions closely & enough. Today people call him “The Best Performer,” because HE WORKS SO HARD FOR THIS. He’s working alone in practice room nonstop. He watches his fancams and takes notes to improve himself. He has bruises on his body bc of his hard work. He works so hard even on ONE second YET they don’t even show him... San doesn’t have highlights in this song and he’s #7 in line distribution. Im also so dissapointed that in every comeback, KQ takes his lines more. Hes #7 for 3 songs... 4-5 for other songs tho.. its so sad. So every moment that he takes part is so important. Okay this is a little silly. San is my bias and has been for almost 2 years. During the Answer comeback, he was featured. So this time it's Yunho and Seonghwa. What's wrong with that? Ateez is 8 members. They all have their moments to shine. Someone is always going to have the least lines. Someone is going to get the most. It can't always be the same person. I agree that San will surpass them, not because he is more talented or more able, but because he has far more passion and KQ Entertainment gives him choreography that lets him truly shine. SM Entertainment is very good at selling its idols and making a profit, but never helps them reach their full potential. Within the next few years, after Ateez is more popular in Korea, San will be an amazing solo artist as well. I see him being the first from the group to do that and succeed. Ateez has a long and successful career ahead of them.

As always, the #1 reason why I became a fan of Ateez was San’s raw passion for performing. In all of my 13 years of being a kpop stan, I have never seen anyone like him before. San is one of a kind. And I don’t just mean him being the most beautiful person I’ve ever seen. And I don’t just mean him being one of the kindest and sweetest people in the world. Just looking at him on-stage... he is a masterpiece. He dances as if every stage is his last stage, he puts SO MUCH into every performance. San is the kind of person who is very hard on himself, but i wish he wouldn’t be. :( I think he must feel a lot of pressure, as someone who attracts a lot of attention to the group, and he is always pushing himself to do more and more. I hope he knows how many people love him and love his dancing. And not just dancing, also his singing! His voice is so beautiful, light and pleasant to listen to. He is such a complete, well-rounded idol, and I am so proud to be his fan. Not to sound cheesy, but I really wish I could hug him a lot and tell him that he’s doing well~ Regardless, i am always blown away by him and his performances, I just hope he doesn’t feel forced to do more and more. Guys, I learned how San had such great kicks on stage and how he was so flexible, boneless. It turns out that his father was a taekwondo instructor. San had a level 3 black belt. Wow Choi San, is there anything you can't do? Indeed, the best performer of the 4th generation, San. It is great that he feels the gestures, the dance and the song, that he dances like a movie, does not hesitate to do anything, does whatever he wants to do. He is one of the most beautiful people I have ever seen in real life. His attitude towards the members, not hesitating to hug him, not hesitating to kiss him, appreciating everyone, his thoughts are really nice. I am very happy to know San. I hope his value is known and he gets long parts in the songs, his voice is very nice but he sings very little. Ateez is a very valuable group. you know what is really insane is that in many groups there is one person who shadows the other members because of their visuals and or stage presence but in Ateez it isn't like in any performance, sometimes 2 or 3 members don't catch your eye at the first sight but every stage at least 4 of them really stand out. What I am trying to say is that even if San is a demon when he is on stage he doesn't shadow the other members, every member gives their 100% and it really shows how even among themselves they raise a bar.
