Yeah, most of them always complains that she gets most of the lines. But the blame isn't on Soyeon actually, it's on the people who distribute the lines. Soyeon always gives it her all specially for G Idle, writing the songs and even creating the choreos and such. She's the center for a reason.

soyeon has contributed so much for (g) i-dle.. she's my bias.. so as a return for her efforts i hope the other members (except soojin who already has an intimidating aura) should also put more power and intensity to their dances so that they won't be outshined by soyeon's stage presence and charisma.. although they also has good vocals and pretty faces.. but soyeon is just too good..she deserves more recognition.. soyeon and soojin are the reason why i came to love this group.. overall i stan (g)i-idle

Well, i think most of the people who opens the gidle's fancam are korean, and as you know, koreans focus on beauty more than everything ( i am rly not saying soyeon isn't pretty,she is extremely pretty, but she doesn't fit well in the korean beauty standards) P.S that her facial expressions are non-existant, so it is sometimes boring to watch her fancams even though she has the highest techique in dancing along with soojin, and if soojin wasn't there, she would blindly be the main dancer, she is just gorgeous. Despite she is the most famous member internationally, i don't think koreans prefer her as a pretty face,and i kinda think her popularity in korea is unlike her popualrity internationally, i see that shuhua is the least famous internationally and the most famous along with soojin in korea, while soyeon is the most famous internationally, and the least famous in korea. You can also see how much are the koream comments on each gidle's famcam, idk why english commnets are rare and few in gidle's fancam, but that is jusy my own opinion and my own poiny of view. And yeah, another thing, technique is sometimes not everything, for example soyeon has the strongest legs, and she can dance the fastest and highest in technique, but that's not what people need, people prefer charisma and facial expressions over everything, and that is kinda sad, i know soyeon has charisma, but look at yuqi and soojin, they have the best facial expressions, i agree that soyeon is the most charismatic member, but some believe she is not. Shuhua is the most beautiful so people want her fancam the most and I don't blame them, since beauty and facial expressions sometimes makes you forget about the technique and level. I myself get bored watching soyeon's fancam, same with shuhua, but nowadays people just focus on beauty or facial expressions particularly,I know facial expressions is a part of kpop dancing, but in my opinion ( since I don't understand this much in dancing ) a real dancer should have both a good technique and good charisma, also his or her facial expression's has to be on point and that is what attracts people the most, soyeon doesn't have all of that, but at least she is better than 3/4 of the members, and no one can fight me for that. The preference and style is also a part of all of that, but I am not gonna talk about it in a long paragraph this time. I know my comment was pretty long,but some people need to understand that a dancer doesn't only need technique, also needs some attraction in her or his dancing,also don't forget the different styles of people in dancing, some may not prefer soyeon,so that is okay, having a good taste is not always choosing the best dancer, that does every dance in a rly strong way ( I also kinda think soyeon over dances alot, I mean there are also some dance moves, which you need to do softly, but soyeon does everything strongly, that is not a flaw, but also a reason of her views and why peopel don't prefer her.

On the other hand soyeon doesn't give a damn about these sort of things despite her cute nature. also facial expressions is an important skill for an idol to master so it was kinda stupid of you to mention charisma and then using yuqi as an example cause in that category it's definitely minnie and soyeon her self. However, generally speaking the main reason probably is the solo stans not the idols qualities nor performances
