Boston didn't lose because of a lack of effort, they lost because Montreal was the better team. They proved that against Boston all year. Boston needs to stop focusing on running around trying to hit everything in sight and focus more on skating and passing. Montreal's speed won the series.

When he's not getting caught up in all of the antics and bullshit, Lucic is actually a force to contend with as a player. If I was Cam Neely, I'd have a sit down with him and get him to re-focus on what he does well, because the goon role isn't doing him any favors at all. Unlike that idiot, piece of trash Brad Marchand, Lucic actually has some talent.

Lucic is deflecting attention from himself. If memory serves it was Lucic and Chara that allowed Brian Bickell to stand around in the crease late in game 6 of the finals last year and to ultimately score the tying goal, a goal that was followed 17 seconds later and the Blackhawks won the Cup. He has to deal with that failure and with the failure of his team to deal with an undersized opponent.

Why does it looks like he's about to cry the whole interview ?
@cote016810 жыл бұрын
He is right. The effort in the game was the reason they lost and honestly the only reason Montreal won the series was because of Price and all the posts Boston hit. If they scored on all those posts they would've been up 3-1 in the series. But seriously what's said on the ice, stays on the ice. We all know if Weise fought Lucic, he would get his ass kicked

Lmfao I love how people are like "Boston would have won if they didn't hit so many posts" or "the refs were clearly against the bruins" First off, the hitting of the posts is a really stupid argument, it'd be like saying "oh boston would have won if they played harder" or "if Montreal hadn't blocked so many shots", like it happened, that's Boston's fault. Also montreal won cause boston didn't have energy mtl did in games 6&7. Mtl out worked, out hit, out played boston, they beat them at their own game As for the refs, games 1-6 they didn't call boston on any of their shit (idk what games boston fans were watching) . I get the frustration in game 7, I mean ALL fucking season they get away with murder, so the refs ACTUALLY calling them on their fkn shit might have been a bit jarring for the players and fans. Even the ref sending marchant off the ice for his cheap shot on plecs at the face off circle was just SO gratifying in every way As for the chest bumps, water bottle, and muscle flexing... Chest bumps: wtv, it was montreal getting under their skin Water bottle: just so much disrespect while play was going on, and thornton's face, I just want to punch it Flexing: lucic Is just a duche, like WHO fucking does that lmfao

I love how no one has ever mentioned the goal celebration as disrespect and neither does the reporter that asked his the question and that's all he talks about. It makes them look like a bunch of stupid apes, but no one said it was disrespectful. And speaking of babies it's pretty baby like to want revenge after a playoff series just because you got beat out. I think it's about time for the whole Boston organization to grow up. You're a shame to the league when you act like this. Take some lessons from Backes, who, even though he got nailed by Seabrook still shook his hand politely and patted him on the back.

I dont see why some of you are calling Lucic a bully? I think you all need to look up what bully means. Just cause a guy was born bigger then others does not make them a bully.Montreal bullied Boston this entire series and thats why they won. Hockey is a joke now. The small guys hide behind the refs chirp and instigate the anger that Lucic shows. I can understand why hes upset. You have guys that challenge you to fight call you names behind a referee and get away with it. Montreal was being the bullies chirping and calling names throwing punches and slashing behind the refs. Watch the videos, Gallagher standing next to Chara taunting him over and over and over tripping him. But because Chara is big he has no feelings? He has to get slashed and punched and talked to and he isnt allowed to defend himself. This is not how Hockey is supposed to be. This is why your going to see more Bertuzzi type incidents. Guys are going to get to a point where they cant take no more stand up for themselves and just beat the shit out of the guy weather he wants to or not. You wanna act and talk like a big man then back up what your mouth is spewing. If not get off the ice. This isnt golf. Hey same goes for Marchand he needs to back up his mouth. The Playoffs used to get rough. Now no one can drop the gloves for any reason. So the league is now made up of guys that do a great job being bullies and assholes talking a load of shit getting the bigger guys to take the penalties.

The fact of the matter is, these comments would occur regularly in all games on the ice (its called gamesmanship for all you "no classers" out there.) The fact that the whiners and criers (in public media) decided to bring it to attention is the only reason why we're talking about it. This is a hockey RIVALRY, and one of the best in all of sports, and emotions will escalate, as they did for Lucic. You win this time, Habs, good luck.
