Pipes and drums always seemed to hit me hard, even as a child. Then I regained contact with my father and discovered that he was a Dewar. (Or at least his mother, my grandmother, was. At 1:52. - what is the guy shouting? I ask because my Romanian ears hear "Zi ma!" or "Zi-i, ma!" (well, you prolong it as you shout it like "Zi-i maaaaa!"), which is used when you encourage a musician to play (or sing), exactly in show or party situations like this, especially when you want to introduce a virtuoso or make him start. It literally means "Say (it), man!". BTW, well yes, Romanians are also descendant of a mixture of Celtic-Germanic-(Northern) Tracian people which were then partly Romanized by the Romans (after they conquered Dacia; which they later abandoned it to the Goths).
