Been using the Phoenix One on my old (vintage, lol) TDM 6 system since day one. The cumulative effect when used on individual tracks can be amazing..Thumbs up, Mr. White

I was reading the manual and it seems that Mike got the Luster and Dark Essence settings mixed up. Dark essence is always very aggressive and Luster gets more aggressive the more processing you have on it. Luster gets even more aggressive than Dark Essence when using an extreme process setting. Just FYI.

Do you prefer this or UAD A800 Studer?

Wow when you finally, FINALLY let us see the meters after 20 minutes, exactly what I thought was happening, was happening. Almost every channel had a volume boost which resulted in a louder sound which fooled you and 401 people here to think it sounded better. Unbelievable. And if you had rest the peaks even once we could have at least gotten an exact difference measurement. The SOLIDITY lol, was volume. Do a proper, truly volume matched comparison and then I'll take it seriously.

is it better than kazrog true iron? cause kaZROG much cheaper
@mixingwithmike4 жыл бұрын
Completely different plugins. This is a tape emulation and true Iron is an emulation of Vintage transformers.

@@slamcrank don't know if Avid doesn't let them entry to any other format, or CraneSong is simply not interested...
