I personally like the E-Maxx better. I own both and I can say that for bashing the E-Maxx is the way to go. The Revo bottoms out to much for me.

Erika Smith I'd recommend these models to anyone they are so much fun! I have a e revo Brushless but I've recently just bought everything to make a new e revo so this time I'm making a brushed model, completely waterproof and tame!

I also have a 1/16th e-revo and 1/16th Summit both brushless VXL. summit is like the max in this video versus the revo same differences. Also note maxxes (and summits) bigger tires. they can be swapped out with a simple nut removal.

Can any experts here help me out? I have first model - E maxx #3906 I want longer run time and I'm having troubles finding batteries that will fit. I currently get "maybe" 10 minutes out of two - 3600mah nimh packs. Unnacceptable! I want more run time. Can anyone give me some advice? I appreciate it. Thank You.

the revo is closer to the ground and has better cornering and less flipping on it's back think of it more like a big wheeled 4WD buggy. The max is better for jumping due to longer travel of suspension and does better with larger rocks on the ground than the revo. both are same as far as speed and torque goes. revo is good for everything especially if you live near mostly pavement/grass or smooth dirt/ terrain. ot handles better on pavement and can take sharper turns at higher speeds.

I have a tmaxx I converted to a emaxx it if full aluminum (exempt the roll cage it's steel) water cooled and has the whole electronics system fron the xo1 (motor, electric speed control, receiver, servo) $1350 total in it total

both are great. choose what you like. with the Revo we've had one very long and high jumps without damage. However, we have done well with the emaxx and two Thunder Tiger. Reaper or mamba monster? no idea. both work. choose what you like and have fun. you have more money Revo is its monetary value. a bit cheaper the thunder tiger. both broken. both are not waterproof. both the same. The Thunder Tiger have built a lot of steel. traxxas plastic. i like plastic ^ ^

Mein monster truck hat einfach zu viel power mit nem 3 s lipo! Schon 5 mal hinten die achse weggerissen und die kupplung ist einmal permanent durchgerutscgt da da irgentwie öl dran gekommen ist...habe die dann zu geklebt!

Dann besorge mal was vergleichbares mit der Technik für diesen Preis. Aisserdem kann man sich auch für 30€ Aluantriebswellen kaufen die halten das easy. Ausserdem hab ich mir meinem monstertruck jeden scheiss gemacht und es icht nichts kaputt gegangen bis auf die Karosse!
