I love the nuanced sense of respect Moore feels for Ditko even though they have radically opposing views of the world.

@@Pantano63 Black and White. But on a more detailed way it was objective in absolutes of Morality and Integrity. Never compromising, never taking anything unearned, standing up to any injustice faced. A man that did not wish for his face to be seen, and to only be thought of as his work.

I played at a local festival on the same bill as this band. The only other recording I know is on a cassette for a local fanzine called Frank which I’m guessing Alan Moore contributed to. My band The Cloggs was a «supergroup»consisting of my other band FallOut and members of Urban Kreng who also feature on said cassette (From Frank issue #5)

Where did you get this, I been trying to find this song for years. I do love how this song also mirrors my parents conservative Taoist beliefs of a black and white world.

Quack, Crash, Bang, Wow He had one room above a thrift store He had a chunk of books by Ayn Rand He was short-sighted and reclusive ??? refused to take his photograph He drew a superhero comic He saw the world in terms of black and white He said, "A day's work for a day's pay" There is not one (?), only right Oh, that's what Mr. A said That's what Mr. A said I said, that's just what Mr. A said That's what Mr. A said, that's what he said He drew a superhero comic His style was strange and psychedelic He got approval of the headshots ???????? (I can't make out this line) He probably voted for George Wallace But there was always more to him than that He said a man should never compromise in matters of morality Lest he should slide into a pit where fear and greed are cross-hatched That's what Mr. A said Oh, that's what Mr. A said I tell ya, that's what Mr. A said I said, that's just what Mr. A said, that's what he said His style was strange and psychedelic They made him sign a lousy contract Thirty years later he was homeless And his creations were on cable He takes a card and shades one half in dark So's he can demonstrate to you just what he means He says there's black and there is white And there's wrong and there is right And there is nothing, nothing in between That's what Mr. A said I tell ya, that's what Mr. A said I said, that's just what Mr. A said Oh, that's what Mr. A said, that's what he said That's what Mr. A said That's what Mr. A said That's what Mr. A said That's just what Mr. A said Oh, that's what Mr. A said I said, that's what Mr. A said I tell ya, that's what Mr. A said Oh, that's what Mr. A said, that's what he said

I can tell that the last three words of that verse you couldn't make out were "is quite ironic". But yeah, this is either a case of bad mixing or bad transmogrify from CD to KZbin video,
