What an unusual bird. Not only does he survive without chest feathers, but he's the only cockatoo that doesn't try to "ruin everything." I suppose that being a little different will cause some circumspection, sometimes. Thank you for caring for him, and for the interesting look at how a cockatoo's crop is shaped. A few points of curiosity, maybe something to talk about in another video if you don't want to answer here: since your feeding table always looks so clean around the piles you make for the birds, what sorts of things do you do to maintain each platform? And what do you do with all of the sunflower seed husks, since those don't break down very quickly outside?

Mr baldy could turn away from the wind and rain like you see farm animals do ( they turn their backs to it ) He probably lives locally and has a nice sheltered tree or series of trees that help him survive . i bet he has a few tricks up his sleeve so to say. Cockatoos are very smart.
