I remember when he did it on stream and was fucking around with the video editing software and was like “ what the fuck does this do?” And that’s how he made it, by pressing random buttons lol, and the little song he just placed a bunch of animal samples just for the laughs lol

Thanks Mr Bill, always hidden gems of Info in your video content. I'm learning Ableton so much more since I found your channel. Brilliant work, big respect . 🙏

Mr Bill I added this one plugin called Beatformer, took a little bit out of the boom from drum bus and added the boom from Beatformer right after, Beatformer's boom is a lot clearer and with their other few knobs got some cool subs.. thanks for the vid!

I was convinced this was a bad idea until about halfway through- I was like "why not just use a sine wave sub" until you moved the pitch around with frequency. Ableton's pitch bend just won't do those Oshii subs. Great vid dad

Love your tuts man - any way to normalize your mic signal though? The line level and intro music are so much louder, you have to turn it up pretty loud to hear you talk... then it's jarring when music happens.

Your intro is loud and clear and your voice is dull and low volume, so I turn it down when the intro plays, then up when your voice starts. The volume of your voice to the audio in Ableton seems well balanced.

40K is still a wonderful sub count, but Im really shocked that you dont have more. Huge imbalance here. Personally I feel you deserve much much more

You're amazing and this is so cool. Any way you could do a quick vid on how to achieve this in ableton 9? Without Drum Bus? Thanks... and thank you for all the tutorials. they're all very informative
@norwardradtke13613 жыл бұрын
you would need some kind of sub harmonic generator or something that creates super low frequency feedback. fabfilter saturn does when you turn the feedback up for examplw

that leading kick to the downbeat clashes with the kick like percussion. Sounds terrible. Having said that, cool video on applying old techniques to achieve dated sounds using new software. Soothing voice to do my Pilates as always. I want one of the downvoters. Rating is bitches.
@MrBillsTunes6 жыл бұрын
Nice, so when you do it in your tune, don't do that :D
@nukillerfridaymusic9116 жыл бұрын
Mr. Bill I would have so expected someone that seems to care enough about drums to have what looks like a vintage Ludwig sparkle Tom a foot away, to be sensitive to those types of things. Do you clap on 1 and 3 as well? Those types of mathematical polyrhythms never work in this low end.
@MrBillsTunes6 жыл бұрын
Lmao, well, as I said, feel free to not do it in your tune :)
@nukillerfridaymusic9116 жыл бұрын
Mr. Bill that’s a given. I want you to stop doing it as well. I liked the rest of the content. Can I get you on board with that ? The music of today can be improved one rotund white guy without rhythm at a time.
