Primus would be mainstream. Everyone would have a Buckethead poster on their walls. Devo would be The Beatles and The Residents would be The Rolling Stones. Renaldo and the Loaf would be played out and Dead May Dance would be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. I like it the way it is.

I was a teenager in high school in 1991 when my buddy Marc introduced me to this song and album. I've been a Mr. Bungle fan ever since. Yet, I never knew there was a music video for Travolta AKA Quote Unquote. This song is as fresh and unique today as it was back then and doubly so for the music video. Many things get called 'cult' favorites but few things are as 'cult fave' as Mr. Bungle. It truly feels like you're in a select fan club for a band that few people ever learn about.

Very simple: Song meaning: This song is about a man with no legs, arms and his mouth is sewn shut... while he trips on drugs. Music video meaning: These are the guys that did this horrible crime and they are partying like its 1999...

I noticed that too. From what I gathered this version was uploaded by the actual music video director so I imagine he had access to the master copy which explains the high quality. I also noticed how the other versions of the music video available on KZbin are poor in quality … they must be the same compressed file.
