I love this song, one of my all time favorites. I remember waking up after a night of mushrooms and acid in the hills of Los Gatos CA, playing this song and felt ecstatic. Was around 2013, wish times were like that again. Good vibes coming from this track.

It's the called the Amen Break. Originally created in a song called Amen Brother by The Winstons, It has been used in thousands of different songs, and although I have not heard of the song you mentioned, I'm sure it's used. Look it up for more detail, I think you'll be amazed at how frequently it pops up. :) Oh, and also, Mr. Carmack is the man, just like you said ;)
