I wondered the same thing! I believe he missed it. My guess is that he was distracted by the sweetness of spirit and bouncy bazooms of Cousin Lucy.

I don't know (but have sent my agents to discover) the proportion of grizzled sea captains in overall populations at the time of this work, but it is my hunch they wash up on the beach that is the radio stage rather a lot. I want Mr.Chameleon to flesh this out.

I think listening to OTR. Is a very interesting look at our society in the forties . Could Mr. Chameleon make it as a popular entertainment in today 's society. But it played for many years back then.
