When I was in college, a young lady was once sick at the table in the Dining Facility. She started a chain reaction, which I got caught up in, which left the room in about the same shape as this fictional scene. I am not exaggerating.

Vomiting can trigger a sympathetic response in nearby people, especially in poorly ventilated areas. Smelling vomit leads your body to believe that the food you ate is contaminated and will try to purge the contaminated food.
@criert1353 ай бұрын
That makes no sense unless you were all poisoned to some extent. People don’t literally throw up just because they watched someone else do it. That would be a very rare event so an entire room doing it is just unbelievable unless there was some other factor, such as poisoning

@@criert135 You vomit because something provokes great disgust in you, a smell, a sight, a feeling If girl A vomits and girl B finds it nasty she might vomit, the horrid smell of puke in a poorly ventilated area along the sight of half digested food makes boy A vomit, along his two buddies girl C and boy B, a chain reaction starts to occur, imagine vomit, now imagine a room full of it, the mix of both vomit and food mixing, their scent intertwining, the sight of multiple people vomiting, some on the floor, some on top of food, some on top of you. You puke too. Hell begins and without moments notice you are in a Monty Pytho sketch.

As great as it is to watch this by yourself on a computer commenting to other individual viewers, it was something else entirely to see this in the theatre when it was just out. The big screen just intensifies it. People were choking with laughter while at the same time groaning with disgust. My friends and I back in '83 were laughing so hard we were falling out of our seats. I always wondered, though, why they chose to set this scene in the 1930s.

I saw The Meaning of Life at the theater, (Matinee) when it was released in 1983. I'd say one quarter of the Audience left after the Catholic/ Protestant "Debate". "Every Sperm is Sacred". And another quarter after Mr. Creosote ,vomited, and vomited somemore, and ultimately exploded. I personally thought Python's Meaning of life was second only to In Search of the Holy Grail. And, Cleese, Palin, Chapman, Jones, Idle ,and Gilliam were all accused of Blasphemy for the third time.
