ngl i think the whole significance of darcy walking towards her in that field (the large field) is to show that he's willing to put in the effort - he cares about her so much and will do whatever to show that. yeah he was probably like "my legs are sore" a little bit but more likely he was like "....ELIZABETH I LOVE YOU"
