Thank you Doctor this was very informative and helpful. On May 26th 2022 I am going for this test in Ottawa Canada . I have to admit I’m worried. Would you say most patients have the urge to defaecate after gel is inserted into the rectum? Is the gel the same consistency as faecal matter? I’m worried about this as I think I would have trouble defaecating on command. Furthermore any abnormalities structurally are a challenge for surgeons to repair or high failure rates. Thank you 🙏

Sir recently i diagnosed solitary rectal ulcer but i have no pain no bleeding but feeling of incompletion and i have chronic constipation n from childhood i have habit of digital evacuation because i have no proper bowel moment from childhood whts the reason sir??? I m 25 year old and suffering from this problem when i was 10 year old recently i go through Colonoscopy and biopsy.. sir will childhood problem will be solved by surgery or not???? When i take laxative sometimes then i feel relax but problem is not proper bowel moment from childhood please sir reply 🙏

Meenu, do you suffer no urge to go to poop, i mean you don’t feel you have to go bathroom? Me i i have this issue , and I can’t pass my stool , when it come out it is very very very little and incomplete I have an impacted stool , i cry every day , I’m depressed , frustrated , I don’t know what to do
