I'm black born and raised in the USA... I just discovered modern african music and it is totally different than the hip hop and r&b in America. This music doesn't degrade women, black men are not ashamed to have black women in their music videos... AND THE MELANIN! Now a days I never see rappers from the USA displaying dark skin girls in their videos. Plus american rappers always have to call women degrading names like bitches, hoes, and thots. I guess this is what i'll be listening to more of now. I've been playing it over and over lol

@albertoduro1xx8 жыл бұрын
it don't matter where he born. He pretty much identifies himself as a Ghanaian. He speaks twi and Pidgin in most of his songs and he makes music IN Ghana with mostly Ghanaian artists. Give it up.
@lilmizzije8 жыл бұрын
albertoduro1xx but he's not Ghanaian though that's the thing and he doesn't identify himself as Ghanaian. When you move to a country like Ghana you are prone to pick up on the predominantly spoken language and that is what has happened to him, which is probably why he speaks in twi... it's not THAT big of a deal. Just accept it, he's Naija by blood.
@albertoduro1xx8 жыл бұрын
lilmizzije I understand he's "Naija by blood", which by the way has not been comprehensively proven only the fact that he was BORN there. What I was trying to say is that, even if he IS "Naija by blood" does not make his music automatically Nigerian. What makes a song of certain origin is the vibe and the people behind the music and to deem his music Nigerian when it has extremely strong Ghanaian vibes, language and Ghanaian people in it is pretty disrespectful in my humble opinion. It was even recorded in a Ghanaian studio for crying out loud and just because he may not be Ghanaian by blood, which I repeat still has not been proven only that he was not born there, makes it Nigerian music? Nah I don't think so.

Stop with the dark skin and light skin, the Ghana vs Nigeria this is what they(the white men) want to divide Africa like they have before we're all Black we're all equal and we're all BEAUTIFUL.

Reading some comments and I just don't understand why some people don't wanna think logically. The only reason why Ghanaians are claiming Mr Eazi is because he represents us. He's Nigerian by birth and blood but Ghanaian in everything else. Ghanaians didn't ask or beg Mr Eazi to use Twi and Banku or wear a necklace with an adinkra symbol or wear a jersey with 'GHANA' written on it or say he's a Ghagerian or tell the whole world how much he loves Ghana!! It was purely his choice, and is there anybody in this world who won't associate with someone who represents them. Lola Rae is Ghanaian by blood but she claims Nigeria, do u see any Ghanaian claiming her...no! We haven't come to claim P square or Davido or any other Nigerian artist even though we listen to their music. So please fellow Nigerians leave us alone sha!! Ghana is a blessed country and we're loved by all ; indigenous people and foreigners. That's why Ed Sheeran would do a Twi song, make a video and tattoo the Ghana Flag on his chest. As for Runtown's mad over u, the less said about it the better...nothing stopped him from using 'Naija girl say, she wan marry me o and moimoi and eba and all that, but he didn't. So pls leave us Ghanaians alone and let's think of ourselves and how to move our country forward jor! God bless Africa, God bless Ghana and God bless us all.
