For those questioning his origin....Well, you heard it directly from him.. He admits that he's Nigerian...but says his mother "forced" him to go to Ghana. Lol.

Wheather forced or not he still claims ghana and has a more of an influence from ghana
@blazinghot998 жыл бұрын
ginger love You say he claims Ghana? Did you miss the part in the interview where he says he is a NIGERIAN? Since when does having influence in a country make you from that country? There are a lot of Ghanaian actors who act in Nollywood films, reside in Nigeria, and have influence in Nigeria, but that doesn't change the fact that they are Ghanaian. He can have Ghanaian influence because he lives there but it doesn't change the fact that he is NIGERIAN by birth. Some desperate groupies want to claim him on social media, but even the Ghanaian population knows he's not one of them...they declined his music at the Ghana awards because he's not a Ghanaian....and if he truly claimed Ghana, all these years of living in Ghana...why hasn't he acquired Ghanaian citizenship?...Naija not dey lost anyhow abeg...forget matter.
@gingerlove90858 жыл бұрын
first of I never said he wasn't Nigerian I said he has Ghanian influence and nobody stopped him from getting ghanaian citizenship.. the music award is called GMAs for a reason how stupid will ghana look if he got the award and he's not really ghanaian.. plss nobody is forcing ghana we said he might as well be by how much he talks about ghana he brang the long story and all the other detail we supported us music first and najia is now recognizing him now after skin tight
@blazinghot998 жыл бұрын
ginger love You missed the point...the fact that he is yet to acquire Ghanaian citizenship says it all....he may like living there, but knows he's a Nigerian period. And if truly Ghana supports him...then they would have included him in the GMA music awards...it wouldn't have mattered...If you truly like someone, you can go above and beyond for them...Nigeria does Nollywood awards and we include Ghanaian actors who live in Nigeria, despite they are not Nigerians...We accept them as a courtesy because they cater to the Nigerian population and live in the country. Ghana could have done the same for Eazi, since you people claim to have "supported" his music first. Ironically, he signed to Starboy, which is owned by fellow Nigerian WizKid because obviously he knows they can take his career places. We never heard of him because he isn't a big time artist...If it's so important for you Ghanaians to cling onto a NIGERIAN artist for relevance...you can keep him...Nigeria has bigger and better artists. He's not even on the same level as the likes of WizKid, Davido, Tekno, Psquare, Tiwa Savage, Yemi Alade, Olamide and others.

What's the obsession about being Nigerian, mr ghana please face the Ghana market cos Nigeria music industry is too competitive for you. And the fact you're signed to a Nigerian record label owned by wizkid.
