I grew up in Barstow. I went to school with Mr. Hackbarth's daughter, Julie. She recently served as the mayor of Barstow. There is A LOT of history around here -Go check out the Harvey House, built in 1911...subbed!

They are opening Del Taco restaurants on the east coast now. They blow Taco Bell away. Taco’s and burritos are full of ingredients.

Their food used to be awesome especially their Del Meat Burrito. Now, not so much. When in California I now go to the Santa Rosa Family Restaurant.

The test kitchen was in Fountain Valley and I ate there a few years ago, it was the same as back in the day👍🏻there’s one in Stanton and the food isn’t the same, there’s supposedly one in Huntington Beach and I haven’t eaten there but people say it’s good. I also forgot Tastee Freeze which there is one in Perris🫡

There are obviously Mexican street style tacos, and Americanized hard shell tacos. These are two completely different foods. You can be full Mexican and enjoy both. Nothing wrong with that. & if you've ever had the Del Taco tacos from this area on the way to Vegas (Barstow), you'd probably agree that they're pretty dam good. ..so, calmate guey
