The “stereotypes” mentioned in the video are based on truth to an extent like any other stereotype, they’re not like pure nonsense. But they’re wayyy over the top and told in such a way that they’re way too exaggerated, making them more funny. As you probably realised, this video is mainly satire filled with exaggerated jokes that only Romanians will understand and laugh at, foreigners like you would be obviously confused at what’s being said.

I am born & i live here in Bucharest & the city now is very very full because every one comes here for work etc & there are bad think & good think. To manny ppl from all over , not only from our country but also from Pakistan, Ukraine, etc you name it. So now are more then 4 mil ppl live here and cars, cars, cars every where , but also good busses, metro you can travel in Bucharest with no car very easy , cheap , good . I still love my Bucharest i am born here & i was small in comunism & still lived here in Bucharest , it was better in Bucharest in comunism , i have 41 y old so i remember a bit ❤. This guy said more about bad thinks and i don' t know how to take it. Most are not true at all.

I would image this is a satire, based on many inaccuracies or should I rather say this is a satire based on other many layers of satires, some of them one century old. Like Caracal, from all those seven wonders, only one is true, or was true more than 100 years ago, the rest is pure fiction. Romanians do use stereotypes, it's like a national sport, but none of those were actually covered in this video.

I follow Living Ironiclly in Europe, and I love his videos, but, even though ther's some truth to what his saying, it's mostly satire. I've lived in Craiova for 26 years, and I can say the city is very safe. Safer than London at least.

These stereotypes definitely exist, but most of them are greatly exaggerated in this video, and as most stereotypes, are based on a bit of truth. Too bad there weren't any stereotypes mentioned about the easternmost part of Romania near the Black Sea, called Dobrogea. Great opportunity missed as there was plenty to cover there as well.

They are just stereotypes, meaning they are very exaggerated and generalized characterizations. Partially they have a real basis, but no region can be characterized like that, in reality. Romania its a safe place. Yes, it is poor but it is not dangerous or ugly.

As someone who spent an entire day visiting the entire Romania, I can confirm. I got my wallet stolen, been cut with a katana twice by Vasluians in Craiova, and hopped to meet some femboys in Cluj, but they are all terminally online and busy complaining about tiping culture on Reddit.

Tha guy that made the video try without success to be some sort of comedian, but it is so cheap. Like a joke for kindergarten kids but even that, was said wrong .. made me think "If this guy would be on a stage, I would not waste my rotting tomatoes on him, that would give him the false impression that he actually did something" .. Why am I wrighting this then? Just a habbit, like when you go to a bar, you go to talk with someone, not to drink .. You can drink alone in your home to, but go to the bar to talk 😉

Where exactly are the stereotypes? Oltenians are ambitious,but arrogant. Transilvanians are honest but slow. Moldovans drink and eat a lot. Muntenians are lazy. Romanians on average ,are cynical and paranoid. The satire made was quite superficial, although it seems to be a new trend on KZbin.
