The mountain is part of the Carpathian range and reaches an elevation of 1,565 meters (5,135 feet) at its peak.

Rtanj looks like a perfect pyramid. That is why it is believed that it has the magical , healing powers. It's been very visited. People find certain circles of energy and testify that it works. It has many rare plants. Wish I could visit. The guy who just payed a visit looked indiferent , slightly arrogant., like he prooved his point or sth. Every mountain , in fact everything that's way older than yourself should be approached with deepest respect. They witnessed many things you yourself did not. At least , that's what I think.

Not much of people here are aware thet the Serbs count the years from the time of Vincha civilization.Unfortunatelly , kids are obliged to learn their history from german publishers who won this war. They totally erased any mentioning of our prehistory and twisted our history. The goal is to become insignificant nothing surrounded by all those old past around us . If one wants to know the real history of Serbs , he has to dig and search out for it away from the mainstream narrative😢 So, no, I do not celebrate , but hope I will soon. Today , according to old Serbs , the summer started.

Ja nikad nisam bila na Rtnju ali sam prolazila pored vozeci se autobuson davne 1983 i ne znajuci kako se ta planina zove .Ono sto mi je ostalo u secanju je apsolutno neverovatan oblik ,da mi je i kao detetu tada bilo cudno i neverovatno i toga se i dan danas secam kao da je bilo juce.

Fun fact: Rtanj is the LARGEST PYRAMIDAL MOUNTAIN structure IN THE WORLD. Larger than Machu Picchu or what have you. The Felix Romuliana site (the palace of emperor Galerius 250-311 AD, which he built in his homeplace, intending to retire there) is cca 40 kms away from Rtanj. They say the Romans sent their soldiers to Rtanj to recuperate bc they noticed that their wounds healed three times faster there. Anyhow, I just returned from Rtanj two days ago. Went hiking up the mountain. Almost reached the peak, but the clouds and winds were so rough, we had to go back, like a mile away from the top. Haven't seen the sinkhole.

First of all, Americans are obsessed with pronunciation of the names correctly, if we talk about the people. This guy travelled so many miles, to call this mountain RITANJ, and not RTANJ, as it should be called. Second, almost everyone near or on top Rtanj, said that the energy was special. This guy is acting like he claimed on the top of the building: "Every high place is special because the air is thin." Stupid conclusion. He shouldn't spend his time and money going here, just to feel nothing.

I don't like this video about Rtanj that you watched, Mr. Giant, because it didn't tell the real story, but even caricatured it. If you want to know something about Rtanj, you have to go there with an open mind and stay for several days. That mountain - pyramid hides many secrets...The famous science fiction writer Arthur Clarke, fascinated by this mountain, believed that a real pyramid, like those in Egypt, was hidden in that mountain...At the end of 2012, when the apocalypse was announced, people all over the world came there to seek salvation... But even if people were not afraid of the end of the world, the mountain Rtanj has been a place of numerous mysteries before. Residents of Rtanj witness paranormal phenomena that, they say, can often be seen near this mountain. Glowing balls, unidentified flying objects or the inexplicable height level of radiation and energy fields that have been measured there are just some of the examples that stand out. Several pilots also reported seeing flying balls over Rtanj. There are also several stories of foreign tourists who slept in tents and after something supernatural that they experienced during the night, they were in a state of shock and fear over many days. Some were told that they also saw aliens...Based on certain documents, there is one story which is recounted and freezes the blood in the veins It is about a Greek who was found by the Germans during the Second World War on Rtanj.Namely, the man claimed that he does not know how he ended up there and that the last thing he remembers is that he was tending his flock of sheep in the pasture in Grčki Village. Nobody knows, because all search only in western Europe. Though western Europe is probably the poorest when it comes to stuff like these. Except of Ireland, mind you, a few things in Scotland etc. But overall, it's a shallow place. Eastern Europe, Balkan and Slavic countries are full to the brim with tradition, legends, mythology... No one cares bcs no one think we deserve any attention. I don't mind at all, except for one thing: we could earn some money. Other than that, I couldn't care less if west knows about us or not. In fact I wish they never heard of us.
