Greetings and You did a great review. I just wanted to suggest that you go back and recheck your heater. Mr. Buddy heaters are already portable within itself. I'm pretty sure that the batteries are for the built in fan/ blower. That red switch on the back should be for turning the fan on/off. Please let me know if this is correct or not.
