Bibin Thampy I know Manohar aich was an Indian legend . But an Indian legend . Even he could not win an Olympia show. That’s the reality . He participated in a lot of Ifbb shows but cudnt win any apart from the Mr universe . Also it’s not the federation that doesn’t let any Indian go to Olympia . There are no athletes who can compete at that level. It’s too far for the Indian athletes . Indian athletes always get satisfied with less . They actually don’t have that hunger for more . Hey his hunger can be seen in only American athletes . Bodybuilding is an expensive sport and is not for everyone . India can’t even have a 212 competitor . Forget about the open catagory . India might have some men physique athletes on the Olympia stage may be by 2021 but not in any other class . There’s no bodybuilder in India who can stand tall against big Rammy or roelly winklar or Johnny Jackson or phill Heath . There’s actually no one to stand against them . I am an Indian too and I too feel bad but this is the reality my friend . Indian athletes prefer competing at wbbf or nabba or ibbf where the competitors are just like them . They are just not ready to face challenges . Infact they would never be ready for challenges .

Bibin Thampy you know from where roeally winklar comes from ? He’s from curacao. I am sure u might have not even heard about this place . It’s a place where there is not even a federation my friend . He did everything on his own. His journey to the Olympia is not supported by Any federation . Curacao is a small island with very few people. The only thing which brought him to the Olympia is that he is never afraid of the challenges . Indian bodybuilders are .... you were talking about the federation my friend . Roelly winklar is the perfect example of hard work and dedication . His country does not even have enough money . It’s not a rich island . Kai green is another example . He was an orphan . Raised in a foster home . No support from any federation . He started on his own . He was doing a part time job along with bodybuilding . Arnold Schwarzenegger is the biggest example who came to the Usa with just 5 dollars in his pocket . He was working day and night to collect money to fulfill his bodybuilding passion . He was also not supported by any federation during his early days . All these guys managed on their own during the struggle period . Arnold got his first sponsor after winning the first Olympia title and Kai green got his first after winning the npc championship . I have a very long list of bodybuilders who made it big without any federation . It’s just that they had the will and the dream .

None, there are only weight categories like 55-60kgs etc. and age categories like till 21 - juniors, from 22 to 40 seniors and above 40 masters. Rest, one needs to qualify state level to reach nationals.

That's because the dark skinned guys have more prominent muscles visible in light than light skinned ones. This is done all over the world to remove any disparity. Secondly, tanning makes the muscles striations more visible and highlights cutting and shape.
