While everyone is complaining about the dashcam, i do think this was actually a very valid way for the police to find them. This was not a scenario where PD just randomly finds someone in the middle of nowhere. Either way, i do think this made for great content and it put Suarez in a very difficult situation where he was going to have to choose between family or crime life. Hopefully it made him really think about what is more important to him.
