Conan is the key to changing the PD.. He involves everyone, coordinates chases better, doesn't try hard to get an arrest, he's literally showing them how they can use their current resources to achieve an arrest, and is having the time of his life in humour at the same time.. It seems that in some PD vods, that some PD members don't like Conan because he get's away with certain behaviour and they don't..

Tbh Ramee doesn't get enough credit but man when Conan is around it feels like the whole PD vibe changes. Tbh I don't fault Cornwood for having a doomer mentality on what he can do because his path in the PD has been road blocked but at some point you have to look at the positives, make the best of it and try other things. Cornwood used to be a dumb fun cop and it felt like out of nowhere he started try harding. Also genuinely who is the one punishing Cornwood for having fun literally Beric just sits back and watches Conan enjoying his time, js either there's a double standard or Cornwood is pushing the line too much. The way the PD in 3.0 worked was that the LSPD were serious with no funny business while the BCSO was all about joking around until it became time to be serious. Then you had the two state departments which were just legal cults.

One thing that K says that people don't really seem to listen to is that the crims give back the energy they get. Watch most of the PD RP they patrol and respond to radar blips then get on their tablet. The system is setup to stifle organic RP for the PD, even when they have a literal captive person to RP with they often end up leaving them alone in a cell for 30 minutes or more while they "RP" with their tablets. Sometimes when I watch some of the PD it feels like a homework simulator.

Yeah I used to watch a lot of Cornwood and cop streams during 3.0 but since 4.0, it's felt pretty stale to watch. That's not on the players, just the way PD is set up with the quota system etc. It's gone from just having fun chatting with crims/giving out warnings for traffic stops, to making sure they hit their quota targets. Been watching more crim stuff recently due to this and especially Suarez's arc due to the amount of variety there is and have been loving it. Hope they get rid of the quota system and loosen some restrictions so PD can actually have fun and make people want to stick around on those characters

i've played different servers as PD and the worse part of the job is the paperwork. being PD is a full time job it's like i'm actually at work. PD need desk jockies that get a good pay and can be a civ job and you can have them submit reports so the cops that can get back on the street

When Esfand pitched the concept of the Sheriff's department to the City Council originally, I noticed that he completely failed to mention WHY the Sheriff needed to have the powers that the Sheriff generally has. He doesn't seem to understand he isn't just pitching to characters, he is pitching to some of the most veteran members of the server. He really doesn't seem to understand that people are making asks of him, even if they are somewhat OOC. Like yeah, you have two of the most respected members of the community sitting in front of you in terms of Tessa and Kebun. You have to pitch them why you in particular would be fun to roleplay with as Sheriff. Its going to be a little OOC because they want to have a good time or at the minimum an interesting time. What are you going to do to make things more interesting, more fun, more profitable? These are, like it or not, your real life business partners because of your profession!

34:00 (cornwood) biggest problem with PD is retention, they go to work and they just get SHIT ON. LIKE ITS BAD LK. as in.. Killed or what? cornwood. they get killed, have their stuff stolen , they get held up constantly Me. Thats a broader problem. and its the server's fault. the crims have no way to get body armor unless they steal it. they have to steal turbos cause only cornwood has them for some reason, the gun situation is getting better but before the blue print/ammunition jobs it was stale and stagnant. no one wanted to do anything.

No but RP absolutely, hes absolute content, you can RP out of almost anything with conan, but still knows when to try to make the criminals on their toes. Also conan is not cornwood. conan is way better than cornwood in a sense that he CAN lead the PD. cornwood CAN'T. You can say conan is on the same level as dumb as cornwood, but leading the PD wise, conan is WAY BEYOND cornwood. Value as a cop, conan is way more valuable than cornwood. The PD is so boring, there are certain individuals that keep it from being a bunch of drones walking around. I think it would be hilarious and entertaining if there was a PD heist crew, PD gang, PD getting paid to "not try so hard", just overall the things you would least expect to see the PD do. Super Troopers style of PD would be so funny. I watch certain people because their character is an exaggerated version of a character. Why can't the PD have these types of characters?

I like Suarez but it's not that unreasonable to think that a car that comes back to his name that keeps getting into all these altercations isn't him. I think Denzel is just role playing and it's kind of funny he can't legally do anything unless he investigates. And then that's what Kay is saying. i mean just because you have a car come back to the person, it doesn't confirm that it was him. It only says that it is a possibility it was him. All it proves is his car is involved but doesn't prove that HE is involved. only one way to find out. catch him or follow him everywhere.
