This channel was my initial introduction to shoot interviews and now it rarely uploads anymore. Thanks for getting me into it I guess.

I actually remember you from years ago believe it or not. Regarding me not uploading often, it has kinda been like that since late 2017. I'll randomly come back and post for 1 or 2 months, then disappear for 6-8 months or so. I have to be actively watching shoots to upload stuff, and life keeps me pretty busy. I got stuff coming for the next few weeks or so, then it's back to no showing for whoever knows how long. Glad to see youre still around, hope you're good.

@@RFVideoVault hey thanks man, I appreciate the reply. I'm very selective about the shoots that I watch but your channel always posts good stuff. Thankfully Sean Oliver has his own official channel now but he doesn't post often enough to fill the void. I will always watch anything you post and remain a loyal sub. Thank you.

That was a weird time period in WWE. The TV program was good, much better than today... But backstage it seemed to be a toxic environment judging by all the anecdotes that you hear throughout shoot interviews. You can sense that Kennedy was still caught up in that mindset during this interview. "My neighbor is a nice guy, doesn't mean he belongs in this business". Why did the wrestlers even care about who got a job within a company, essentially doing management work that they didn't get paid for? In their mind they were thinking that they're men of honor that protected the business... In reality they were just mentally sick men that either were scared for their own position within the company or that enjoyed acting like college fraternity jocks, while having wife and children at home. Or both. In later interviews you can see that Kennedy dropped that mimdset over the years and basically became a normal person again. I remember that Brock Lesnar, when he started MMA, said in an interview that you get psychologically sick in WWE and that the wrestlers can't distinguish between what is real and what is not. And while Brock eventually returned to WWE, he never ever signed a full time contract again.

Doesn't surprise me that Chris would say the Nice guy Neighbor bit. Chris was a gatekeeper bully at times just like John. They were both from the old guard who were stuck in that 70's/80's wraslin' mindset and wanted their locker room to reflect that with their dumb politics and clubhouse rules (see the time Chris Banned The Miz from the locker room for eating fried chicken in the locker room). At least Chris had a reason with his brain being all banged up and all. What's John's?

Yeah, this one hasn’t aged well. JBL is known as one of the biggest bullies in wrestling. And not everyone is having “fun” if people are literally quitting their jobs over it. There’s being a baby and then there’s legitimately being targeted and bullied relentlessly. JBL did that to a lot of people. RVD said it best about him.
@BananaMana69 Жыл бұрын
This shows you that Mr. Kennedy was definitely not a target of JBLs bullying, which make sense as he was a big strong heel. All you have to do is watch the blue meanie getting the yar beaten out of him to see how JBL treated people he didnt like.

I didn't like his character in wrestling I've heard good things about him as a businessman as someone who has been professional but I but I think the character of John Bradshaw Lakefield JBL whatever you want to call him was way over the top I mean they spent a year on a storyline between him and Eddie Guerrero which was completely unnecessary and it's necessary and they really milked it for all they could get and in the end he actually died so they couldn't continue
