I put a tag on my Giuseppe Puss and plotted his area on the map, I found he was visiting someone down the street, the lady was feeding him because she thought he was a stray, he was having his breakfast and then going for a walk around his territory and then visiting the lady for a second breakfast, she realised he wasn't a stray when he appeared with an airtag on his collar. I visited the old lady to find out what he was up to, she really looked forward to his visits and I did nothing to discourage this, I only asked that she did not feed him as he had his breakfast in a morning and could return home in the afternoon through his electronic cat flap and eat his lunch as I had an auto feeder for him, I did let her know what his favourite treats were though, at the time I had him on a diet recommended by his vet, however, he was still gaining weight, once I realised what was happening I just fed him his regular meal sizes and his weight went back to normal, the old lady had to go into a nursing home but they let both myself and Giuseppe Puss visit her before she passed away about five years ago.

ugggghhh i hate to be morbid, but I feel like I could make this cat live longer by saying these shows always end in the death of the cat caught on film. Don't let your cats freeroam outside. Even if you don't care about the birds, care about your cat. They don't usually make it past season 4 or 5 if they freeroam outdoors. When you let your cat outside, it's going to spend most of its waking time wandering. It'll come back home to eat and sleep, but 100% of them will die by misadventure eventually. Took me my whole life to realize that because I grew up with a mom that let the cats out. I was gaslit into thinking disappearing pets and ones dead in the road were a fact of life. My oldest cat made it to 13 in that house, and the other four weren't even half that age. I saved one cat from that fate when I moved out and I have a wonderful 15-year old sweetheart that still gets outside time on a harness.

I need to put a tiny body camera on my Oliver . He has an air tag so I can stalk him that way but with the locations he has been to, I am curious as to what shenanigans he’s up to! I personally think he’s the president of the neighborhood cat club, and the meetings are held wherever he wants them to be 😂! He travels across a pretty busy street to hang out in a somewhat ritzy gated community . Reality curious to see what goes on over there!
