Probably the most underrated family film on this planet. For year and years I’ve kept this film in my heart. There is something about it that is so unforgettable. I really think this movie is the perfect way you can explain death to a child without frightening them at all. Still to this day the scene where Mr Magorium says his final words to Molly Mahoney gives me goosebumps every time I watch it. It has an absolutely beautiful somber, and well put together message that we all become adults but you shouldn’t leave you’re childhood all behind, you take some of it with you. In other words, “You’re Life Is An Occasion, Rise To It.” I've become obsessed with listening to the soundtrack, The beautiful, wonderful score with that iconic tune. It was one of the first biggest themes I learned to play it on the piano now I’ve come so far with my piano skills, the main melody in this movie was one of my father and grandfathers favorite songs that I could play on the piano. You have Dustin Hoffman, Natalie Portman, Jason Bateman, three iconic actors who I was introduced to from this film. This movie is SO underrated, it's beautiful, meaningful, and unique, the whole film truly is MAGICAL!

I loved the part where he bought his favorite shoes to last his lifetime and the last pair means it's time to go. That stuck with me. All good things must come to an end.

The movie was so underrated. As someone with a rough childhood, this movie albeit kind of underwhelming with the budget compensated through the beautiful soundtrack, plot, and acting. I love your cover, I went looking for the piano and your cover really stuck with me! You did it justice and it brought me back to that beautiful scene. Thank you.

I saw the film in theaters when I was 10. I was always the creative "weird" kid in school so I related to the film so much. The acting and writing were excellent. And the score by Desplat was perfect.

I remember hearing this so many years ago, i can remember every note and every beat without step, and i just followed along on my guitar, and after i finished i realised that i would never be able to recreate what i just played. I dont know how, but you just reminded me of why i learnt to play guitar to begin with, and i owe my thanks. Odd isnt it, how a small bit of music that can be forgoten in a few years can bring a tear to the eyes of others

As a child I loved watching this film with my mum and always felt somewhat normal in all my weirdness. Several years later with the situation my relationship with my mum has become this is a great comfort to me so I thank you for playing it so well

I don't know too much about pianos, but I really wanted one with fully weighted keys which this one is, just gives it a bit more feel. But that said you can (and definitely should!) start on any, the music is the best part :D

I used to love this movie as a kid, id watch ot almost every day and i could recite the whole movie word for word to you, it was amazing and you definitely did it justice with this cover
