Mr. Mister "Life Goes On" - Live at the Ritz (encore)

Mr. Mister and their #1 hits "Broken Wings" and "Kyrie" played a major role in defining pop music in the late 80's. This recently discovered clip, taken from a live show in NY shortly after "Broken Wings" hit the #1 spot on the Billboard charts is raw and alive and shows a group of amazing musicians clearly at the top of their game.

Clearly an extremely talented band that could have become an even more powerful force going beyond the 80s had RCA not screwed them over. Still iconic. Everyone alive since 1975 knows Broken Wings & Kyrie, so they're legends if for no other reason than that.

watching all these old recordings and from the comments i read amongst them i get the feeling almost every performance of them had to be very intense... very sad i was never given the honour to see and hear them live due to my age....

Mr. Mister was my first favorite band. They turned me on my ear, so to speak, when I first heard "Broken Wings." I didn't realize that was a seed for me later being a bass player. But this song specifically is my lasting favorite from their debut album. I got it on MP3 last night, and it was this song I played over and over again. So great to find a live version of it!

Love it! This song starts out sounding so much like the Police. And Richard Page is similar looking to Sting,. except Richard is much more handsome in a more classic and sculpted way And, can he ever sing!! Wow! They are all so talented. Love this band. :)

Richard was Beaten up by cowboys while hitchhiking after running out of gas- true- lucky they didn’t kill kim. He Had deviated septum surgery (blow) in the 80s and chose not to ‘fix’ it.
