You are right. But remember that Pirates and Chiefs did their activations long time ago to build a brand and they kept doing it for many years in order to attract fans all over. Sundowns will remain a small team whether they are dominating or not. That is why even SABC and Supersport will always choose either to televise Pirates or Chiefs. Sundowns is failing even to go around 9 provinces to attract more supporters and do activations. I mean, they have money to do that. That is why they are called 57 fans. By now they should be having fans everywhere because they do win games and they are dominating in terms of playing football and winning trophies but that is NOT only how you build a brand still, they can even take some to Moses Mabhida, Capetown and Limpopo or Mbombela and still win those games easily. Thanks Nkuja and Lindo for raising this question about recognition of Sundowns. I have been asking this question since 2020 and i blame our marketing and communications team that they are not doing enough to advertise the team. I even said they can take at least 2 of their home games to the province where there are no teams that are playing in the PSL. That time, i mentioned Bloemfontein as one of the places they can use to market their support. They are lot of things that they can use to market the team. We have lot of legends that they can be used to market the team around SA and the continent to open Sundowns branches. I have never heard that there will be former player in the launching of a branch here in western cape.

Before we started doing well that's who i put on the pedestal in terms of the level we need to reach as Orlando Pirates.
