I think I know what the lore is. To put it short, mr puzzles used to be on all of these films, until he messed up 5 times, and he was kicked out of the company. Years later, mr puzzles saw SMG4'S channel and saw how it influenced people. So Mr puzzles tried to take over SMG4'S channel, and now he has succeeded

Honestly, what makes this whole thing unnerving, is just how SMG4 reacts like you could tell like cracks in hypnosis are showing but he keeps going back into the delusion. And Mr. Puzzles design is unnerving because he seems to be animated differently from the rest, and like Freaky Fred before him, a smile like that is very scary.

I know what you mean. Mr Puzzles design looks... off. Compared to the more complex colorful anime like designs of the other SMG4 characters, Mr Puzzles has a creepy design. His movements are far more deranged, his body is more simplistic yet freakishly tall, he wears a more minimalist color scheme, and his model has a smoother cel shaded texture. It honestly makes him look less like an SMG4 character and more like a 90s/2000s western cartoon character (i.e. Ren and Stimpy, Invader Zim, Powerpuff Girls, Cow and Chicken, Dexter's Lab, etc). I of course mean that in a good way as it creates a sense of unease whenever Mr Puzzles appears. I'm not joking when I saw Mr Puzzles looks more like a Ren and Stimpy character. You kinda get what I mean?

Theory: Mr. Puzzles is an allegorical character for corruption within the entertainment industry. Off topic, but I still find it creepy how we don't know anything about Mr Puzzles. Why he's targeting the crew, who/what he is, where he came from, what he's capable of, etc. Literally nothing. Even if some of the arc villains (Francis, Lawyer Kong, Niles) were serious business, at least we had some sort of context as to what their goals were and where they came from. Mr Puzzles on the other hand is someone we can't easily predict nor know anything about. He's just... there. The fact that SMG4 in the title gives off a terrifying implication that Mr. Puzzles perhaps took over SMG4's channel, making him the first major villain to win. That's terrifying because he is clearly not gonna be an easy foe.

I think Mr. Puzzles had a tie in the previous arcs: -The machine he lent to Wren looked eerily similar to the one Francis used. Plus, how on earth did Francis even get an island and working machine in just a week? That's logically impossible to achieve in one week. The only possibility as to how he got an island and working machine in one week is that someone gave those to him. This also might explain how Meggy recognized the logo in WS. -SMG4's descent into madness right before Mr. Puzzles showed up mirrored Niles and notice in WOTFI 2023 that one of the symbols on Mr. Puzzle's control panel resembles the God Box logo. Even their proxies have eye motifs (Niles and the demonic goop respectively) What makes him truly scary though is the fact that there is nothing known about Mr Puzzles. Even in his first appearance in IGTBP, he shows up with absolutely zero foreshadowing or context. It gives the implication he just popped out of thin air

This was a good episode and I agree with you Nickrick Mr. Puzzles's design is cool and creepy at the same time. Something tells me that he is gonna be one of the best villains in the entire show.
