@@theda_film no still isn't. Just looking at the show alone, Bonghwan's personality was the one that the King fell in love with. The stuff he wrote in the book to decipher the queen's strange words are proof of his interest in her strange behaviours. The king is intelligent and he would definitely realise that something is different about his queen. So that means the ending fails because it is rushed and the king is out of character for accepting so fast that his queen isn't weird anymore. The fact that it needed bamboo forest as extra show to make an excuse for why the original queen came back instead of every other transmigration stories where MC just stays in the body forever just shows that the ending was weak and made only to prevent any hint of BL for the older audiences. For now, I just pretend that the king reincarnated to the 21st century (maybe as guy or maybe as a girl) and met Bonghwan again.
