Priority didn't want to release it and explained to P that he needed film permits from the city. But they were talking from the standpoint of being in Los Angeles. They laughed at him. He did it in New Orleans and they sent Duffy Rich, Priority exc to see what's going on. C Mur gave him a cop uniform and a pistol and said we got our cop. That was the white guy. He ended up doing the somebody's watching me video and I got the hook up with the midgets in the bed scene. He called back to the office and reported they were filming with real guns and ammo. P claims the film was banned from theaters - but it was bcuz Priority didn't support. He put the movie straight to VHS and Priority was FORCED to assist bcuz Blockbuster video (a nationa music/video chain store) required product based on customer demand alone. They were calling Priority to fill the shortage and P sat back and watched the cash roll in. Then everything went straight to video at that point. Hollywood changed their model and released B/C movies asap.

I loved _I'm Bout It._ I bought the VHS from _Suncoast Motion Picture Company._ The soundtrack was dope from top to bottom. My favorite ended up being E-40's _Come On_ feat. B-Legit. Nah, as far as Mr. Miller (Master P) treating everybody equally...well... I had the pleasure of speaking to No Limit soldier over the phone and we had a long conversation about that. I told him about little things that I saw growing up and he basically agreed w/ me. Pricing - I noticed that the premier artists (Mystikal, Silkk the Shocker, etcetera) on the roster had $12.99 price tags while some of the iffy artists (Gambino Family, Mercedes, etcetera) had $19.99 price tags. Mo B. Dick album was $21.99 or something super high. Mr. Miller often times gave his throwaway records to artists that weren't gon be around for too long. Basically, he operated like Cl¡ve Dav¡s or any other record exec. Basically, my way or the highway. So no, the treatment wasn't always equal, but sh¡t, that was Mr. Miller's business.
