This is false, P, Beats by the Pound, and I wanna say EMI all own a percentage of the catalog. A few artist like MAC, Fiend, Serv own a percentage of there’s. That’s why there albums are on streaming platforms & the others aren’t. P also made a shit ton of money from pre paid cell phone minutes.

@@jrb3158 i heard he had to sell the whole catalog... Idk If its true. In 2007 through EMI came Ghetto D , Give It 2 Em Raw, Tru 2 Da Game, Ice Cream Man and Im Bout It reissues. And few years later came Trapped In Crime and Da Crime Family (& Last Meal). Those Best Of Silkk, C Murder and MasterP releases were str8 made without the artists involved I believe..

Yep. I wasn’t feeling P’s album Only God Can Judge Me. It was just weak to me. The only albums I like of 1999 of No Limit was C-Murder, Fiend, TRU, and Snoop Dogg, Snoop’s album Top Dogg was produced by DJ Quik, Warren G and Dr. Dre. I believe that saved the album.

@@icecreambeats101 I agree, I wasn't feeling none of the albums that came out once beats by the pound left, matter fact I did like C murder trapped in crime but other than that by summer of 99 No limit was done and Cash money got no limit out the way but that was P fault, he let his top producers leave and he was playing basketball, P fucked up his money making label, all the blame goes to P, that's why all the rappers left cuz they knew beats by the pound was the engine that made no limit run, P got real arrogant & thought he could manage without them, fact is his career was done once beats by the pound left

@@MrTdollarsign straight facts bro. Cash Money took over at the perfect time. Juvenile 400 degrees was awesome. Then when Hot Boys came with Guerilla Warfare, it was over for No Limit. It’s amazing how 7 dudes (Baby, Slim, Mannie, Turk, BG, Lil Wayne and Juve took over and No Limit had damn near 50 plus people when you count each members of groups. When I came to the states, man everyone was looking at me crazy being a white girl listening to No Lit and Cash Money albums. I wish P and Birdman do a show together because it seems like even though they respect each other they got beef. But at least most artists from both camps get along well. I had a chance to meet KLC and Mannie and that was classic.

@@icecreambeats101 Ego & street politics is the reason why P & Birdman never did anything together but in reality P should've did something with cash money it could've helped him and No limit stay afloat in the rap game, plus I always felt that P was a little jealous of cash money back in those days specially when cash money started getting more popular

C-Los aka Carlos Stephens was the only beats by the pound member that stayed, so we still had him for a bit. Beats by the Pounds made Silk the Shocker sound good enough to listen to, that says a lot. Silk is the worse rapper ever.

Two stubborn bulls??? Why Master P just didn’t PAY WHAT HE OWES! The reason Pimp C STOP fukn with em! The reason why Magnolia Slim left…$$$ P stands for Pimp.

Slim was a bad investment. A major label would of been dropped him after in and out of jail, still hanging in the hood and etc. Slim wasn't selling records like that and Streets Made Me was a flopped. So many people just don't understand business. P is where he's at because he is a businessman before anything.

@@JoJoStar22 P might be a good businessman but he also made mistakes running his label, P didn't promote his artist better, the streets made me was badly promoted, didn't really get that push, didn't have a lead single, no videos being played, but P always made sure when his album came out he promoted it, He only promoted himself, Silk and C albums, specially after everybody had left No Limit, if we being honest most of those albums after BBTP left you can say they all flopped just look at the album sales from when BBTP was there and when they were gone

The “Streets Made Me” was released through a regional distributor, SouthWest wholesale I believe. This was also around the time P was between distributors.

@@MrTdollarsign No Limit was starting to fade out and P was losing interest in the music business. Your only hot for so long. I don't think P really cared around that time. It was just for front to bring in a little revenue. That's how i see it. Then, around that time Lil Romeo came out. He really wanted to just focus on his son.
