Strangely, I think Mr. Small is probably the best teacher at Elmore junior high simply because of the fact that he seems to care the most about the education and general well being of the students. That's not to say he's a good teacher though, as some of his ideas on what that should look like and how to get there (i.e. the multiple acupuncture gags and silence snake) are not only insane, but definitely grounds to fire him.

That's honestly what is absolutely great about shows with absurdist humor. There's initially supposed to be a story that has a strict plot and established rules that the characters are supposed to adhere to...but then it slowly unravels into an incoherent, random mess that is every bit as hilarious as it is terrifying or strange.
