This is the seventh trombone duet from Vol. 2 of my Minneapolis Trombone Masterclass Series that I will be releasing from 2020-2024. Each of these duets features a professional trombonist from the Minneapolis area. This seventh duet features Steve Pikal. I titled it "Mr. Trad" as Steve is one of our top trad jazz musicians in Minneapolis. You will see him doubling on upright bass on this video. I also have Pete Suttman and Debbie Schreyer in the rhythm section to make this a powerhouse trad group. Special thanks to Keith Kopatz for bringing the mix together in the end. He really made it pop! It is an incredible privilege to have such talented friends to help bring everything together. Thanks to everyone involved!
